ABOUT ME
My coaching style has been described as insightful and passionate. Honor Your Path Coaching focuses on helping clients to emphasize what is possible in the present and look forward to the future. The course of my life took an unexpected turn in November 1992 when I lost my mom. This profound loss sent me on a journey of healing and self-discovery. It was through my grief that I learned the power of gratitude, a lesson that ultimately shaped me into the resilience coach I am today. Coaching facilitates transformative discussions, bridging the gap between who you are today and who you are becoming, all while honoring your inherent wisdom.
I recognize that many women know they have a purpose, but uncertainty keeps them stuck, unsure of what that purpose truly is and how to live it out. As a Certified Life and Purpose Coach who has navigated the pain of grief, the heartbreak of divorce, and the journey through cancer, I know what it means to rise from confusion to clarity and walk boldly in your soul’s assignment.
That’s why I’m passionate about guiding women to uncover the purpose that feeds their soul and create a blueprint for intentional, purpose-driven living, rooted in value, fierce faith, and unstoppable resilience.

Cynthia Whittaker, BA, ACC
Has life ever hit you so hard, so unexpectedly, that everything you knew changed in an instant?
That moment came for me just four months, two weeks, and one day after my first wedding in 1992. My mother, passed away suddenly. I became a motherless only child overnight, and nothing in my world felt familiar anymore. That loss marked my first real experience with transition… and it was a doozy.
But what I’ve learned is this: life will happen. The power lies not in what happens to us, but in how we respond.
In the years that followed, I didn’t just survive, I transformed. I leaned into gratitude, grounded myself in faith, rediscovered my worth, and slowly began the work of healing. Letting go of fear and embracing who I was becoming became my daily practice — not just for me, but for every woman I now walk alongside.
Today, I am a Certified Life and Purpose Coach with a decade of experience guiding women through their own transitions, from confusion to clarity, from burnout to balance, from surviving to truly living.
My coaching is deeply rooted in faith, value, and purpose, helping purpose-driven women break free from old narratives and live resilient, intentional lives. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. I offer what I call change facilitation which is a soul-centered coaching approach focused on discovery, emotional awareness, and building a blueprint that aligns with who you truly are. I recognize that many women feel called to something greater, but uncertainty keeps them stuck. I help them uncover the purpose that feeds their soul and support them as they create a life of clarity, confidence, and intentional joy.
I believe God doesn’t waste pain... He transforms it into purpose. And I’m living proof.
I’ve walked the path of loss, of rebuilding, and of becoming and now, I help women honor theirs.
Hailing from Baltimore, Maryland I am a proud graduate of the oldest all-girl, public high school in the country, Western High School. I received my undergraduate degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Strayer University in 2007. In addition, I am respectfully certified from The Coach Training Academy and credentialed as an Associate Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation (ICF). I am most proud to be a mom of a beautiful adult daughter, in a loving relationship, and loyal Sistah-friend to a network of special women who challenge my fears, supports my dreams and ultimately allow me to HONOR MY PATH.

What Is Coaching?
Coaching is a transformative process where we work together one-on-one to explore your limiting beliefs, practices, and mindset. Together we use strategy to move you from where you are to where you want to be, to the place where you are fulfilled and boldly living your best life with unapologetic joy. The intention is to provide you with tools and strategies to move you forward from the generational and societal agreements that has led many women to accept and often embrace false narratives that no longer serve us.
Life coaching is a powerful solution that can help you identify barriers keeping you stuck, create action plans to accomplish goals, and reach you fullest potential but it is not a miracle fix. It is a more direct approach that uses empathy and compassion.
Coaching is not therapy, but it does offer tangible solutions, a-ha moments, breakthroughs, and accountability to put a plan in action to live a life you love. Truth is, we all need a little help sometimes, when it comes to journeys of self-awareness and self-discovery. A life coach is someone who can help you identify strengths and weaknesses and overcome obstacles holding you back.
Life coaching bridges the gap from where you are right now to where you desire to be and assisting you with finding “your why” and pinpointing any resistance to change.
You should know that life coaching does not provide advice, but we do expand your perspective to facilitate your own process of connecting to your inner wisdom and making choices about your actions and next steps.
